The IQA 2019 Conference in Geelong, Australia will support and invigorate the IQA’s Vision of Educating and Connecting Our Extractive Industry. The theme, The Future of Quarrying, will ensure the conference program delivers valuable educational, networking and promotional content to support your business to make the most of the opportunities during the conference. 

New or emerging technology, resource constraints, health and safety, community and regulatory requirements and more, combine to provide opportunity for the quarry industry now and in the future. The IQA’s 2019 conference retains the successful format from previous conference while implementing new initiatives including:

The conference is starting on the Tuesday and finishing on the Thursday to encourage all delegates to attend during the week so as not to conflict with family considerations and weekend travel arrangements. 

Site visits to new modern crushing and screening plants at Boral Deer Park Quarry and  Barro Point Wilson Quarry near Geelong. 

An exhibition hall situated where all delegates must pass through and attend the opening address, plenary sessions, award presentations and other official conference events. The exhibition display area has been specifically designed to ensure that exhibitors gain maximum exposure during the conference.
